65.5kWp Solar Installation on Grain Store
A new installation on an existing grain store with a fibre cement roof of a 65.5kWp solar system. This installation included 2x 25kWh inverters, 18kW of batteries and powercut backup to ensure seamless working systems when the grid fails. A great addition for the business, put to the test only a few days after the completion of the job! This system will generate 63,512 kWh/Year with payback estimated within 5 years.
Re-cladding a Grain Store
The first stage in the rejuvenation of an old grain store. The customer wanted to give this old farm building a new lease of life. The frame and structure were sound but re-cladding is necessary to future-proof the barn. Once the re-cladding is complete we will install a solar PV system on the new roof with battery storage to help power the yard, farmhouse and on-site tenanted buildings.

I'm Tim, the face behind Raptor Rural. With over 25 years working in agriculture supplying a range of premium machinery and linked services across the South East of England my passion is developing strong working relationships with both customers and suppliers.
Diversification is a huge and ever changing topic and one which has encouraged me to take a leap after many years working for a trusted agricultrual company. After having solar installed on my own property I saw the benefits it brought and decided it was the change I needed in my professional life too. I soon saw the other diversification opportunities available to help future-proof agriculture and an idea was born.
